You're expecting a baby... congratulations! Pregnancy Yoga with Zen Em is designed to help you relax, unwind, and connect with your baby. Growing a tiny human is hard work, so classes will create a balance of strength, flexibility and rest in order to aid the incredible work that your body is already doing! Postures are focused on maintaining functional movement, and allowing the hips to open and soften. Yoga can be incredibly beneficial to help baby come into an optimal position, as well as helping you to prepare for birth by finding comfort in different positions. You'll also learn how to breathe during labour and birth, enabling you to stay calm and in tune with your body. Classes will also focus on effectively using the breath to identify, strengthen and release the pelvic floor... creating a balanced, stable muscle. Suitable for second trimester all the way through until birth, pregnancy yoga is the perfect way to spend time forgetting about the outside world. Instead, you can focus inwards, enjoy time with your growing baby, and relax ready for a good night's sleep.
